Hi, I am a singer-songwriter from South Coast NSW, a small beach town Culburra Beach. I have been playing and writing songs since Year 7, I am now 28 years old.
I have had a lot of projects over the years, ranging from solo duo trio to 7 piece fusion band drawing inspo from world music but specifically West African music. I play acoustic guitar and sing, im looking to start a project. I have been to MALI West Africa, so my songs are inspired by my travels but fusing it with more contemporary modern sounds from Australia. e.g English lyrics...
I'd like to jam and play with people who are into world music, jazz, blues etc. who are keen to bring a unique flavour to a unique project. People who are proficient at there instruments and can pick up melodies and ideas pretty fast by ear. I can deffs lead structure and songwriting but would be awesome to collab, I'd like to record some music and perform aswell, I have contacts on far south coast nsw that we could book loads of gigs down the track if your up for a road trip.
Im looking for keyboard player, accordion, harmonica flute, bass, percussion or drums etc. or some other interesting instrument that can enhance some melodies im playing with my guitar, a musician who is competent in improvising and taking the lead...
Keen to just create a unique fusion, something intersting, but would be cool if you were passionate and into this genre or like some of the sounds of the music listed below.
