We are looking for a singer. First and foremost, a lead singer. If he/she plays guitar, bass or keys, that's a bonus.
The ideal person is someone prepared to learn the material before rehearsals, be punctual for rehearsals and gigs, and be part of the team, including setting up and packing up gigs.
The singer we are looking for would ideally live on the Coast, or in northern Sydney or the lower Hunter, and be reliable - show up when and where you say you will. We have wasted too much time with unreliable people, or people who are not on the same page in terms of wanting to do the same thing - play gigs with confidence and competence. We see ourselves as music lovers with a professional attitude, if that makes sense. Our ideal person would be prepared to look for gigs as the rest of us do.
We rehearse every fortnight, on weekends, allowing for personal commitments. We like to gig once a month.
First and foremost we play for the love of music, we're not in it for the money. However, we will charge a fee when appropriate, e.g. a pub or club gig.

Artists covered include: The Stones, Creedence, The Cure, The Beatles, Talking Heads, John Mellencamp, Paul Kelly, AC/DC, Ike and Tina Turner, Angels, INXS, Blondie, Bon Jovi, U2...an eclectic mix, 'classic rock', the list goes on...
We are not precious about what we play - if it makes people dance and it's a good fit for us - we play it. We pick songs together.
Members Of Band
Our current lineup is drummer, bassist and two guitarists - we share lead and rhythm. Our bassist sings harmonies and takes the lead now and again. BTW the bassist also plays guitar so all good if you sing and play bass.
EQUIPMENT
We have everything needed to gig. And a rehearsal studio on the Coast - instruments into mixer and out to phones. We hire a hall to rehearse 'live' when we need too.
Just bring your headphones, mike and stand and rig (sans amp) if you have one.
