Hi, I’m Jerry.
Looking for a Pop/Rock/Indie Covers band or anything along those lines!
I'm also interested in an Originals band, but working a full time job would prefer something a little more flexible and am unable to commit to anything looking to tour extensively etc. If any of this sounds good here's a little more about me:

I have been playing drums for around 20yrs now. I have a decent range of experience in a few bands, from growing up playing highschool Punk Rock bands (as most people do), recording Metal Drum Covers for Youtube, Acoustic Rock, Pop-Punk, Pop Covers bands.
My most recent gig was playing in a Rock Cover band (Under Wraps) around the Sydney/NSW region. This had me playing a couple weekends a month, playing 50+ paid shows at both pubs and private events from 2016-2019.

I have since moved to Brisbane (Springfield area) as of last year and after putting it off due to work commitments I'm keen to look into getting back into gigging again. I have continually been practising at home and taking lessons since moving to Brisbane.

I have a Youtube channel featuring some of my playing. I grew up listening to alot of heavier music so a lot of my videos reflect that. However the music I like to listen to and would prefer to perform these days is a lot more diverse.

I have experience in filling in for bands and am able to practice/learn setlists on my own without the need for regular meetup practice sessions.
During my time in Sydney I was asked to fill in for a Pop Covers band (The WIldcatz), learning 30+ song setlist within a week and playing the gig without a rehearsal. This was a great challenge but also very rewarding and I went on to play a few more shows with those guys throughout that year when available.
I also have experience playing to a click track and backing track live, which is how I performed in most of these bands.

I have a full setup of professional gear, 1x Standard size kit/Cymbals etc, 1x Smaller Practice/Cafe gigging style kit, and am able to transport all my own gear to and from gigs.
