Hi, I'm looking for a drummer for a band I had going in Melbourne called "Touching the Bees", but since moving to Brisbane seven years ago has been dormant. Although I have always continued with writing new material for TTBs during this whole time as I can't stop doing that. But now I'm very keen to get it up and running and gigging again here in Brisbane. You can check out TTBs on Bandcamp.

It's an instrumental 2 guitar fuzz riff driven sonic wall-o-sound thing.
The other guitarist is Laila who still lives in Melbourne but would come up to Brisbane periodically to do gigs and we could go down to Melbs to do the same. Or we all could just go OS to play.
Always keen to play gigs and work on writing new material.

Too many to cover everything, but the main bands that I like to listen to regularly would be: Torche, Fudge Tunnel, Floor, TAD, Mudhoney, Nirvana, Sleep, QOTSA, Melvins, Kyuss, Helmet, Godflesh, Fu Manchu, Big Black, Shellac, Cathedral, Motorpsyco, Red Fang, Foo Fighters, Dinosaur Jr, My Bloody Valentine, Jesus and Mary Chain, 60's instrumental ie. Ventures, The Shadows....so on and so forth...you get the idea it's kinda on the heavy side of things
