Looking for a keys or other guitar player to work casually on original compositions / arrangements with a view to creating a band and gigging for enjoyment in the fullness of time. Interested in creating loose chord frames and progressions that support various levels of improvisation as well standard songs. New to Melbourne so looking around for like-minded musos my age and ilk. Gigged, recorded and toured regularly for many years in the past. Have been away for a long time, but looking to reconnect to playing with other folk and the live music scene generally.

My guitar playing and writing is influenced by everything I ever heard, Her's some things I like in no particular order: John Martyn, Eddie Hazel & Funkadelic, Chet Baker, David Gilmour, Peter Green, Fender Rhodes, Mellotron, Nick McCabe, John Lee Hooker, Neil Young, Sonny Sharrock, Velvet Underground, Popol Vuh, Swans, Dirty Three's sense of improvisation, Bohren & Der Club of Gore, Robin Trower, Heavy Jamaican dub from the 70's and every timeless beautiful sad song ever written,
