ABOUT

Seeking Female Vocalist for Inspiring Recording Project (30-Song Series)

Hi, I’m Jason — a musician with 30 years of experience, mostly playing with the same group of guys. After decades of shared stages and studio time, and a long pause following COVID, I've found myself hungry for something new: a creative rebirth.

I'm now embarking on a deeply personal and exciting recording project — a collection of 30 songs — rooted in storytelling, emotional truth, and sonic exploration. I’m looking to collaborate with a female vocalist who brings not just a voice, but heart, presence, and perspective. Someone who connects to the soul of a lyric, and wants to be part of something meaningful and creatively fulfilling.

Genres and influences are fluid — from moody indie-folk and cinematic pop to intimate acoustic moments and atmospheric textures. Think Taylor Swift (folklore/evermore era), Lana Del Rey, London Grammar, Angus & Julia Stone — with room to make it entirely our own. My sound however, is a mix or British shoegaze with a mix of 80's synth-pop with a mix of classic indie thrown in for good measure.

The emotional core of the music is tragic, haunting, intimate, cinematic, and bittersweet — songs that echo with longing, beauty, and vulnerability. They hold a haunting blend of obsession, secrecy, surrender, sacrificial love, and quiet power — the kind of emotional weight you carry when you've been through a lot.

The goal isn't to chase trends or play safe — it's to make something real. Something that stirs, inspires, and lingers.

This is a passion project, not a commercial gig, but I value and respect your time and artistry.

If this sounds like something that speaks to you, I’d love to hear your voice — and your story.
