ABOUT

I am a Vocalist, 53 years of age and up until late 2023 was out of the game (since late 2004).

In mid 2023, I was asked to do some fill-in work for a mates 80's Cover Band (Total Recall - The 80's Show). Lots of practice daily and some intense Vocal Coaching (which continues btw ... with the very awesome Eleni Kokkinos at School of Rock Bella Vista) to re-learn and hone my craft and I now have that fire in my belly again to get back to doing what I love and miss so much.

As further background, I was classically trained in my teens and fast-forwarding to my 20's (1990's) and 30's (early 2000's), I was the lead Vocalist in a Sydney based Covers Group ("Accountants with Attitude"), playing 50's through 00's in Pubs, Clubs, Private Functions etc. This ended around 2004 when I started my family. I did not realise how much I missed it or how hard it was to come back until I finally got the opportunity to do so in mid 2023 with 'Total Recall - The 80's Show'.... it was an absolute blast btw !!

In late 2023, I was lucky enough to have been picked up by "The Reflection" (see https://www.bandmix.com.au/the-reflection/), a project focussed on re-creating the sounds of '80's New Wave' from Australia and the UK, as their Lead Vocalist .... I'm super excited about it and am loving gigging again !!
