An old track of mine that I recorded when I first experimented with Open C tuning. I recorded everything in 1 take with improvisation and minimal editing.
It may not be the best song ever, but it’s all i’ve got recorded at this current time really.

ABOUT

I’ve been playing guitar for around 6 years now, with an involvement in music most of my life. My band has had 2 previous vocals, who both had to quit for personal reasons and so we require a new vocalist and a second guitarist. We’re an alternative rock band, with a wide range of influences, such as Silverchair, Sick Puppies, Anberlin, Linkin Park and a whole bunch of others.

As a side project to this band, I would also like to start a band with a lot of power to it (whether it be powerful in the sense that it is heavy or powerful in it’s emotion as a quiet thing). I’d like to do something quite extreme in either sense and/or incorporate different styles/genres into one, such as a Reggae Metal band, Dubstep Metal Band, Ambient ‘Chillstep’ with guitar, etc.

If you are interested in either project, send me a message on my Facebook https://www.facebook.com/james.d.mclean.9
