Heya,
I just moved to Hobart for family reasons and I don't know anyone! I studied at the QLD Conservatorium and Jazz Music Institute and have taught guitar at studios and schools in Melbourne and Brisbane.
I've played in everything from extreme metal groups to big bands. I'm hoping to find a few different things to delve into both professionally and creatively.
I'd like to find some people to play some jazz with and gig professionally, but would love to find some people to play some bluegrass/trad/old timey stuff with on mando and guitar which is where my heart is at the moment.
I'd also like to start or join an originals thing doing contemporary, alt folk/country sort of stuff, or an ambient/experimental thing. I've got plenty of material for both. I'm pretty open to other styles but wouldn't want to commit to something unless my hearts in it, because that's not fair on anyone.
