ABOUT

Yes that picture was about 30 years ago in Adelaide - but its pretty funny :)

Looking for other members to form a 70's/80/s/90/s 'rock chick' lead singer type of band - Blondie, Pat, Katrina, Go-Gos, Chrissy (Amphlett and Heinz), Killing Heidi, Garbage, Evanascence, Traders, etc and pretty much anything in between - you get the idea. Not 100% tied to the idea, and open to options.

Looking for vocalist (female type) guitarist, drummer and keys (either guys/girls). to have some dam good fun.

Primarily 'Rock Chick' genre, with enough flexibility to handle everything form weddings and private parties, to Sunday arvo pub seshs and Saturday night shows.

Be versatile and do most things. So no wankers who think 'Im wonderfuls and only do originals' or 'there are only 2 types of music; country and western'.

Want similar minded muso's who dont take themselves too seriously, but committed enough to actually show up for practice and gigs.

Used to play pro in Adelaide years ago, got a hand injury meant I gave it up for a fair few years.

Getting back into the scene now, so looking for some fun.

shane dot daniel at hot mail will get hold of me so you dont have to fork out for the site

I can not sing at all, so dont bother asking me too :)

Have spouse permission (dammmm..... need to remember and get that in writing) :)

Influences

Pretty gregarious - except no hip hop or rap (that is NOT music), and no C&W.

Ideally - prefer 'Rock Chick' style (Garbage, Blondie, Pat, GoGo's, Divynals, Evanascence, Traders, etc and pretty much anything in between).

Happy to consider most stuff though.

At the moment, Im listening to Rush, Yes and XTC just to give you some idea as well. No I cant play like Geddy. Basically relearning again after a long hiatus. Good imitator (not super fast player though) and poor innovator.

Instrument experience:

Bass Guitar:
Moderate

EQUIPMENT

Good pro stuff for prac or stage (Steinberger 5 string is the current weapon of choice, and Hartke loud maker).

Ive got a full PA for small/medium shows and practice. (Mics, Amps, FOH & Foldback, Desk, All the accessories), Elec Guitar, Elec Drum kit
