I'm a 34 year old multi-instrumentalist. I'm a joker, easy to get along with, up-beat, fun and humorous (can you call yourself humorous?). My main passion is acoustic and electric guitar, but I also play bass guitar, ukulele, drums, piano/keyboard, harmonica and percussion. My dad got me into music at a young age (around 6) and I have never stopped. I have studied, listened to and been influenced primarily by American and English music of folk, blues, surf, jazz, pop, psychedelic rock (think ' Hendrix - Third stone from the sun') and rock musicians and this has shaped my ear and musical creativity. I can play along with music I hear before I understand it theoretically and have a good understanding of music theory, note and chord relationships, song structure, dynamics ect... I can improvise solidly on all of the instruments listed above.
I have been involved in bands and gigged along the way, but I'm now looking for a group of really quality musicians of a remotely similar age (although age is not essential) to put a band together from scratch. I'm 34.
I'm chasing band members who are dedicated, well practiced, have an ear for music and can improvise, figuring songs out easily, can play in time and have quality good sounding gear they keep in tune..
I have songs of different genres, some with lyrics and some without and am looking to finish writing, recording and gigging these songs with the help from a much needed band. I'm happy with and seeking to cover songs as well as collaborate to finish these originals.
I'm seeking to play festivals, wineries and other paid gigs etc..
I have a space for a trio to setup.
I also have recording gear and a good understanding of how to record, mix and master music.

EQUIPMENT
I have everything a trio needs permanently set up. I have done this so that members of the band don't really need to bring anything for a rehearsal (unless of course you preferred to use your own instruments/equipment). Lugging a drum kit to every rehearsal would suck! You are welcome to tune my kit to your liking.
