We are looking to put together an original alternative/progressive hard rock/metal band. At present we are two guitarists and a vocalist looking for a Bassist and Drummer. While this band is in it's infancy we collectively have over 30 years in the industry and most levels and many live gigs under our belts.
While the plan is to ultimately be playing our own material (which we already have some of) we plan to concurrently run a cover or tribute band (with the same members) to fund our original band.
We are looking for like minded members to join us. We would like to stress upfront that we want to get this up and running, get out playing and keep rehearsals consistent. While not being Rock Stars and expecting the commitment of a touring band, we expect members to be able to commit to regular rehearsals etc.
Due to the plan for both the Original and Cover components of this band, we are obviously after quite competent musicians (no bedroom blasters please).
Sorry if we sound pretentious, we are just trying to save time by putting everything out on the table at the start. If you are still interested, we are definitely interested in hearing from you.
