To be part of a new, tight COVERS plus FUNK / Disco BAND PROJECT (Standard pub rock PLUS some Disco dance classics) that aims to create a great experience for the audience and FILLS THE DANCE FLOOR!.

OK, you can SING or PLAY, of course. This role could be challenging given the range of music styles / genres we would love to cover but but would be heavily influenced by what YOU could contribute.

MORE IMPORTANTLY, YOU WILL HAVE A PROFESSIONAL ATTITUDE YET BE LAID BACK & EASY TO GET ALONG WITH ... and WANT TO HAVE FUN PLAYING. Please, NO prima donnas, control freaks or over-inflated egos. The band will be very egalitarian.

You DON'T have to be the greatest musician in town NOR always note-perfect, just versatile and able to use your ability and gear to achieve THAT SOUND & FEEL. You will have abilities and stage-craft, passionate about music and really want to be part of creating a fantastic show.

AGE range ??? We are OPEN to ANYONE who believes they fit the bill and have the passion. While you may be 40+ to have acquired the experience this is flexible. (Note - We are 'mature' musos).

PS. As everyone has a private life and family, we would prefer to work once or twice a month but that is flexible.

Influences

Anybody & everybody who make the music that fills dance floors and gets the hips & booty movin' & groovin'.

BAND songs will typically include the proven crowd-pleaser cover band standard fare:- ZZ Top, Black Keys, INXS, Aerosmith, Angels, Icehouse, Models, Daddy Cool, Dragon, Stones, Beatles etc etc etc and, with female vox could include the likes of Pat Benetar, Pretenders, Joan Jet, Divinyls, Eurythmics etc, perhaps more current artists PLUS many of the DISCO dance classics - Michael Jackson, Donna Summers, CHIC, KC & Sunshine Band etc etc,. You get the idea.

STAGE LIGHTS: Several LED Stage Lights.& DMX controller

DRUMS: On Stage: classic Roland 8-pice electronic kit (percussion kit, not just drums) with acoustic (Paiste) cymbals. See the photos (2017 to as recent as Nov 2022). Runs through 2 x Behringer 15" powered PA speakers rather than the PA (unless a big gig & everybody mic-ed or DI into the PA) It's about sound balance.
