ABOUT

Hi, I'm a vocalist & songwriter who's newly arrived in Aus/Melb & is keen to team up with a solid, versatile guitarist with the aim of putting together a bass/drums/keys combo - or work with a producer that can do it all. I've posted a short clip of a demo for a track I want to work up (no vox or bass, just guitar with synth & programmed drums - it's got strong vocals & lyrics, but needs a bit more musicianship & arranging to be finished). I've got 3 fully written songs with high quality drum tracks recoreded recently in NZ, plus heaps of others that are almost written, so good ears for arranging & coming up with new parts would be awesome — there's no one genre, but it's mostly intense, driving, but with groove & super catchy, with strong vocal melodies & an emphasis on quality lyrics. I write multi-part vocals, so being able to add in BVs would be a bonus. I'm always keen to work on your songs, partial songs, etc, too — I can pin strong melodies & lyrics to tasty music & expand on decent pre-existing melodies & lyrics, too. There's lots of musical opportunity in Melbourne, so I'm keen to work towards playing live & recording. Essendon-based. I'm quite proactive, so if you get a message, don't ghost me, I'm going for the best, haha.
