UPDATE: OUR BAND “ALIEN EXPERIMENT” NOW HAS 3 ONE HOUR SETS OF GREAT SONGS, WITH VOCALS, RHYTHM GUITAR, BASS/VOCALS, AND HUGE KEYBOARD/SYNTH SETUP. SEVERAL GIGS AND RECORDING UNDER OUR BELTS. NOW ONLY LOOKING FOR DRUMMER WITH ELECTRONIC KIT ONLY TO EXPAND THE LINEUP!!!!!
Will are doing weekly to fortnightly practices before planning to gig (for fun probably not profit) later in 2019.
Before moving to Tassie in 2016 i was in prog, space rock band Sonic Attack in Melbourne. Gigged about once a month for around 8 years. Science fiction theme band sort of heavy rock but with lots of synth, sound textures and ambience. Very big on stage show and have kept huge laser, strobe and effects setup. Also did things like girl dancers in costume, fire breathing, etc as part of stage show. Wanting to start similar band in Tassie - danceable electronica but with enough heavy rock to not be wimpy. I am mainly rhythm guitar with lots of FX and lead vocal but also have synth and vintage sampler units for space and electronic textures.
Definitely want to start gigging again and recording. Have a listen to songs on this profile for an idea of some of the stuff we were doing. If you want to see my Melbourne band you can probably still see some bad sound quality clips of gigs taken with camcorder by searching YouTube for sonic attack band.
