GOLDEN GULLY JAM SESSIONS
Informal, private, fortnightly "small group" sessions for people
who want to make some music and have some fun!
Maximum of 8 people per group.
Aimed at those who are retired, but open to all.
These sessions are not for working muso's, but rather for people who play an instrument or can sing.
The songs that we do are suggested by the participants.
Each Session is recorded for the participants' own use.
No audience.
Fortnightly Sessions: Various Weekdays 1:00pm – 4:00pm (No cost)
The Monday Session is doing mellow/world music with a female vocalist, a male rhythm guitarist/vocalist, a percussionist and a bass player. We are on the look-out for a violinist, a cellist and more singers.
The Tuesday Blues Session consists of a female singer, a male singer/harmonica player/guitarist, a keyboard player/saxophonist, a rhythm guitarist/vocalist, a lead guitarist/vocalist, a drummer/vocalist and a bass player. We may need a new drummer soon.
There is a Wednesday Session which has a female singer, a male guitarist/singer and a bass player doing a variety of "softer" music, and can include visiting musos. We have room for more female singers.
There's also a Friday Rock Session. We have two guitarists/vocalists, a drummer/vocalist, a keyboard/guitarist and a bass player and are looking for a female singer to join in.
* We have room for a new Session on Thursdays, with a "folk" influence.
