Survived fronting rock bands thru the 70's. Have moved towards more acoustic/roots/folk music since then though still can revisit many songs of the 60's and 70's if they're called for. Most recent giging (2013 and early 2014) was doing solo work in HCMC, Vietnam.

Influences
Many influences from my early days - from the Eagles to Steely Dan and always turned on by blues music, from BB King to Ry Cooder. My more recent love of roots/folk music has led me to influences from the likes of American Kevin Welch and our own Shane Howard. Also have had a soft spot for Irish singer Mary Black for the last 20 years.
