Howdy. Pieced together a new pub rock covers band. Have done a few successful gigs now (great nights!), shuffled a person around or two (bassist is actually a drummer and put his hand up for the job, thus was looking for another bassist). Was in a previous band for over 12 years, so too the other guys in previous bands over years before pandemic. So now currently have a committed and great drummer and committed rhythm and lead guitarists (they alternate). I sing. Well, attempt to. Gigged with an awesome bassist recently (epic night), but he's that good and in other bands (I think at least 2) as well, so there will be always be that 'gig date clash issue' looming etc. Anyhoo, have had some alternative bassists fall through or not turn up. It happens I guess. Going to try out another chap soon,who I hear is reliable (you know that's a big thing/test) and there is still another or two who are keen (thanks for contacting, it is really appreciated), but I can see geography/travel for rehearsal /gigs could be an issue. Just bearing this all in mind as Project X goes forward. Set lists basically sorted. Looking to do nothing less than rocking the world. ;)
