Currently in my second year of studying a Bachelor of Music at Victoria University. This has diversified my musical taste, experience and playing ability by having to put myself into situations I wouldn't normally have been in. In doing so, I've allowed myself to become proficient in many genres over the last 2 years that have helped both my playing skills, and those of the people around me.

Influences

In terms of musical influences from whole bands, Hiatus Kaiyote has been a massive one, giving me insight into subdivision and more creative drumming. Anything along the same vein has also helped, but I would say my main influences come from 60s and 70s rock. Drummers like Bonham, Bill Bruford, Michael Shrieve, Ginger Baker and Mitch Mitchells have had a massive impact on my life and the way I play music.
