Hey!

I’m Evie, I’m 24 years old based in Brisbane. I’m a lead singer (mezzo), and can play quite a few instruments, specially piano/keyboard, cello, and bass guitar. Am writing a few songs, but still developing those skills!

I’d love to be in a band again, playing pop/rock music, with a preference on lead vocals and bass guitar. I also do love fusing pop and rock music with strings. One of my favourite examples of this is in the song ‘Someday’ by The Corrs.

My musical history includes orchestral competitions playing violin and cello, and I’ve been doing gigs in a band setting since 2014. Some notable performances include the Blueswater Festival and Zillmere Festival, as well as performing at SANDBAG and the Cardigan Bar, both in Sandgate. These performances I was singing lead vocals and playing keyboard. Unfortunately, this band was disbanded due to the passing of our lead guitarist and songwriter. More recently, I’ve been learning bass guitar, and relearning cello.

I’d love to make a career out of performing live music, and am keen to connect with equally driven people. But if you’re just wanting a jam session, I’m happy to join in on one too!
