Emma Jordyn, a native of South-east Queensland, has been performing since she was 6 years old. Comparisons to Miranda Lambert and Miley Cyrus have been made, yet she has been called something entirely new. Her music has a country rock sound that makes you want to crank up the volume, roll down the windows, and let loose to her country rock sound. Like a moth to a flame, Emma captivates listeners with her ability to combine beautiful music with profound words.
Emma has combined her singing with her favourite activity, drag racing. Travelling the country racing and performing has shaped Emma into the person she is today: genuine, caring, and not frightened of hard work. These qualities are mirrored in her new alternative country sound.
At the beginning of her career, Emma collaborated with Tony Q of The Tony Q Band and Brisbane Valley Music. She is a regular performer at the Tamworth Country Music Festival, where she has appeared on Peel Street, the Toyota Tailgate, and other stages.
Emma’s commitment to the performing arts was recognised when she was awarded a scholarship to train with vocal coach Lisa Lockland-Bell and then joining the inaugural Elite Performance Team at Performance Studios Australia, run by Lisa. For the first annual ball for The Carers' Foundation in 2022, they were the opening act for The Veronica's.
Emma is also a member of the Gina Jeffreys Workshops, where she receives mentoring from Courtney Keil and songwriting guidance from Lucy Parle.
