Duncan Smith is one of Sydney’s best guitar teachers, with a special talent for making hard things seem easy. He teaches all levels and styles - advanced classical players at uni, beginners in primary schools, and all levels of rock guitarists at his home studio.
Duncan’s rock band, Lighthouse XIII, has released four albums, including ‘Vortex Winder’ and ‘Cultown’. And if your dream is to write and record your own song, he can help you make it come true.
Duncan has played in jazz, blues, and heavy metal bands. Some of his favourite bands include Slayer, The Smiths, Van Halen, Jeff Beck, Led Zeppelin, and Rammstein, plus many others.
He also loves bass guitar, so bass players are welcome.
