ABOUT ME: Experienced, reliable, and responsible bass player with decent gear and good work ethic. Relocated to WA from Texas for work in 2022. College educated professional with a day job, married, no kids in the house. Mid 50s, decent health, good sense of humor, moderate drinker, non-smoker, no drugs. Centrally located NOR with reliable vehicle.

CAPABILITIES: 30+ years experience primarily playing in original metal/hard rock/pop-punk bands as well as classic rock cover bands. Lots of stage experience - no problem getting up in front of a crowd. I've sang lead before (generally acceptable but not great) and I can handle most backup vocals. I've also done heaps of karaoke back in the states and am comfortable singing in front of a bunch of strangers. I've recorded with several of my previous bands bands and released a handful of albums, and I've done a bit of studio work for other musicians.

OBJECTIVE: At this point I just want to get out and play. I'm open to any informal jam or other opportunities to play with others. Looking to eventually join a gigging band doing either covers (no preference on genre) or some sort of hard rock/metal/stoner originals.

Influences are heavy and melodic players like Mel Schacher, Geezer Butler, Steve Harris, Robert DeLeo, Graham Maby, Cliff Burton, Jack Bruce. Love playing disco/funk bass lines and I am interested in playing anything from folk to blues to country to funk to hard rock to metal.
