Hey BandMix musos.
I'm a drummer (don't hold that against me!) and hobby guitarist and I'm new to the Gold Coast.
I currently play for The Lyrical and self produce some of my own tunes for the love and I'm looking for a vocalist for a grungy, progressive rock project and also looking at paying a few local gigs.
As a drummer I have over 25 years experience, I've taught and I've played in bands that have supported some big names (The Jezabels, Xavier Rudd, Ash Grunwald, Boy & Bear, Tijuana Cartel, The Black Sorrows).
I've included a song from the self produced work to give an idea of the direction and I have a, shall we say, small, smart, home studio setup that I use to produce. Looking for a unique male vocalist for this project (not sure what will best suit).
Main interest in any band work would be in anything creative, dynamic, alternative, progressive across genres.
Big fan of anything progressive rock (because I'm a drummer) but also dig the psychedelic surf rock vibes but more towards Psychedelic Porn Crumpets style.
