ABOUT
DIMINISH THE GODS is a five piece technical/progressive death metal band from Sydney, Australia.
Diminish The Gods have forged a sound of their own. Technical melodic patterns intertwine in chaotic progression before plunging into brutal rhythm structures and breakdowns. Taking inspiration from bands such as Within The Ruins, Conducting From The Grave, and The Black Dahlia Murder, DIMINISH THE GODS take technical progressive death metal to new realms.
In 2014 DIMINISH THE GODS worked with Parallel Focus Studios USA engineer Julian Rodriguez, and Simon Cohen from 301 Studios to released 7 original tracks. Early 2015 DIMINISH THE GODS will release further new tracks.
DIMINISH THE GODS has toured extensively in Australia. In December 2014 they toured Japan, playing in Tokyo, Osaka and Nagoya. The band has supported international acts such as At The Gates, Gorguts, Krisiun and Bloodshot Dawn.
