I am a member of a progressive rock/metal band based in Sydney and we are looking for a drummer and vocalist for recording/gigs/whatever you might be able to contribute. We have recorded a number of songs for a release we hope to put out shortly. It has a unique sound, but our main influences include Opeth, Tool, Led Zeppelin, Soundgarden, Cynic, King Crimson, Brian Eno, Karnivool, Ulver and Pink Floyd. We listen to lots of different styles of music and want to write songs that are widely accessible and have depth.
We're hoping you might be interested in this project! We have been funding ourselves and have plenty of recording equipment.
