Darnelle was born in Eldorado Park, Johannesburg South Africa, spending most of her childhood at church and singing in the choir. It was only when Darnelle moved to Cairns 2012 decided that she should take up singing lessons on weekly basis for a hobby. This developed into more then what she ever hoped for which lead into singing in a band and acoustic duo.
Darnelle’s style of singing developed over the years into mashing covers songs together with rap giving it a fresh and unique style. Her favourite genre of music is R’N’B, ballads and soulful jazzy tunes as well as upbeat pop tunes.
Darnelle is best known for her ability to hit the high notes which has resulted in obtaining gigs at Salt House, Lilo Wet Bar, Sea Temple Resort & Spa, Kewarra Beach Resort & Spa, Palm Cove Tavern and the list is getting bigger.
