36 years old, amature guitarist. Completely self taught. I actually played for 2 1/2 years in high school but I didn't play for 17 years until just recently.......about 18 months ago decided I was gonna stop talking about it and just do it, so I did it. I went out and got myself an electric guitar and away I went. One of my biggest problems however is I've never had anyone else to jam with that can actually play and those who can play never seem to be available to play on a regular basis.

Ibanez RX40 electric guitar.
Unfortunately I don't have an amp, so I just plug into my home theatre system which sounds pretty awesome but is not what you'd call portable. Lol.
