ABOUT

Versatile player into modern pop/funk/rock eg 80s/90s and some newer stuff. I want to join a band that challenges me and makes me stretch and grow as a musician - ie *not* interested in the "plays only simple 60s and 70s rock" kind of deal. Influences

Chilli Peppers and Muse have been pretty inspiring since becoming a bass player. A lot of modern pop is really fun too - I love playing random Spotify lists and challenging myself to figure out the basslines on the fly, eg recently been having fun with Flowers, Bad Guy, and a few Dua Lipa songs.
A lot of the 80s and 90s pop / rock is fun, Pearl Jam, Foo Fighters, love The Offspring, and so much more that I can't list them all here - you can see bigger lists of songs that I've done at https://danonbass.com/songs

Loud amps or IEMs - I am set up, ready to go, and have my own transport.
I use an HX Stomp and can quickly shift between E standard, E# and D, so I'm pretty versatile.
