I'm looking for people to join my new alternative/rock band... I always dream big, but now I'm doing it. I need people that are keen to eventually tour the east coast of Australia, the United States, and the U.K.
For this reason I'm mostly looking for relatively young males aged 20-35. Mature-minded adults who are energetic and serious about their music performance.
I've completed all of the music and lyrics for 4 albums (49 songs in total). The music has been recorded.
My ideal singer would sound like Disturbed and Sevendust together, with a bit of Alter bridge :) ... Confused? I'm looking for a good strong sounding but versatile singer who is able to do loud fast songs with distortion, as well as a few soft songs.
My ideal drummer - Just be good, really good. Looking for someone who always aims to impress when they are on the drums, good timing fast rhythm, double kickers pref.
Being able to retain overall song structure (as opposed to just 'feelin it') would also be great, and some desire to be in band of this genre also good,
At the moment I'm looking for a Singer & Drummer to start things off but if the bassist is out there please drop me a line too...
Basically I need a Drummer and Singer to get on-board with the project and believe in it enough to want to practice the material and learn it - with the short term goal of beginning local gigging.
So this is kind of an audition process, you would have to be comfortable with me coming to where you can sing or drum and show me your talents... I'm happy to work with people though if there is a problem with that for some reason or another.
