Professionally motivated bass player and accompanying guitarist, seeking drummer and vocalist for collaboration on a progressive rock / metal project with the end goal of producing an EP fit for radio play. Currently not in a position to regularly jam/ gig, due to family commitments so collaboration will be limited to email exchange of musical compositions, and a reliance on other band members to lay down their backing tracks in their own time; This will be for someone who won't miss the gigging life, possibly even a studio musician. We already have several near complete songs, an ability to produce tracks to a semi professional standard and an ability to provide vocal melodies/ drum ideas as midi tracks as well as lyrics if need be , so there is definately enough material for an enthusiastic drummer or vocalist to experiment with. Not fussy with gender or age, but at the same time looking for someone who will stand out from the typical run of the mill pub rock/ rnb etc; Ideally looking for a drummer that is good at primal tom rhythms with a hint of funk timing to suit a "metal" slap technique, and vocalist with a good range, high confidence and that can do the occasional metal growl. Basically if you are the next Maynard Keenan/ Danny Carey or female equivalents you are in. We also both hold Certificate 3s in Music and have combined knowledge in business related matters. STRICTLY NO RELIGIOUS PEOPLE as you are bound to clash with the inspirational themes of our music.
