Influences
I have such a vast range of inspirations when it comes to my singing, so many heroes that I look up too, that whole Seattle grunge scene for one resonates with me and the icons that stand out to me on a vocal sense has to be Layne Staley and Chris Cornell (R.I.P) just such powerful controlled voices! (yes Kurt and Eddie we're amazing too)
But I also love the more croon and funky side with people like Jim Morrison and Michael Hutchence! And even take tribute to the soft, angelic voices like Thom Yorke! I strive to be as versatile as I can when it comes to singing, to cater for those heavy, sweaty riffs to the soulful, melanholic riffs that pull at the feels strings while looking out a window on a rainy day!
Just so many bands I adore, that whole 60s era was just filled with golden nuggets from Pink Floyd to the Beatles to the Stones! Love Sabbath, Zeppelin, Hendrix, Bob Marley, just too many to name! I just love and appreciate good music that comes from the soul!
