Corey Le Von (Zammit) has spent his entire lifetime dedicated to the drums. After picking up his first pair of sticks at the age of only four years old, he grew up attached to the kit & soon discovered his natural talent & connection to the drums that would lead him to continue to learn his craft intensely ever since. Developing incredible new skills and confidence with his experience as he pushed himself & refined his style; he set his sights firmly on becoming one of the most elite drummers to ever sit on the throne.
While studying VCE Music Performance at Williamstown High School, he was also pouring his effort & spare-time into drumming, enthusiastically honing his abilities as he practiced and jammed at every opportunity that presented itself. Corey, now more focused & skilled than ever before, committed to the idea of turning his dreams into his reality & made the decision to find his way into the music-scene.
Joining the Bad Cat Rockers for about a year, Corey not only gained experience while playing with the band, he also discovered key contacts Dizzy Hudson and Jake Schembri, who would later play a huge role in his music career in the future. From the rockabilly sound of the Bad Cat Rockers, Corey eventually departed to challenge himself as an artist and further round-out his technique by joining the rock n roll band THE DIZZIES with his two brothers Dizzy and Kyle. His rightful place in music had been confirmed and validated by the players surrounding him and the crowd in front of him – but the best news was still yet to come. Corey was about to become the touring drummer for the Sex Pistols/Glen Matlock Show through his connection to Dizzy & Jake and take what was once a part-time pipe-dream into the professional arena.
Based out of Melbourne, Australia and with over a 10K following on Instagram (@coreylevonn) he is now fully-endorsed by multiple reputable music-companies like TRX Cymbals, Collision Drumsticks, Cympad and Drumdot – Corey Le Von put in the hard-work and massive effort into his every move to get to where he is today and couldn’t be happier for doing it.
