CODAMIX are recognised by many as one of Melbourne's earliest Anglo-Indian dance and party bands playing music from the 70's soul and 80's disco era and introducing their repertoire to the ever-growing Melbourne Indian community. The band was formed in 1994 as CODA, having been heavily influenced by the R&B soul and funk harmony based bands of the 70's and 80's such as Earth, Wind & Fire, Little River Band, Toto, and The Doobie Brothers. At that time, there were such comments from organisers like "â?¦..they will rock your socks off with their powerful mix of disco pop!"
Over the years, CODAMIX have played at major corporate events in Melbourne. The band have also played weddings, anniversaries, 21st birthdays, and other festive events, even a Belly Dancing School!
The band is on the lookout for a full-time drummer.
