I'm Christensen, and I'm a drummer. I've been playing for a few years and now that I'm coming up to the end of school I've decided to start putting together a band. That being a heavy, grungy sound reminiscent of early 90s grunge, writing originals to play. (The tracks I've put up here likely won't be band songs. Just an example of what I can write).

Influences
The main influences for the band are AIC and Melvins with that heavy sorta grunge sound.
A down tuned, chuggy sound of some sludge metal, taking inspiration from Crowbar and some of Melvins heavier albums.
And to tie it all together, I'm taking inspiration from some Funk rock with Primus and Faith No More, mostly with the bass heavy, groovy aspects.
Of course, specific sound will vary from song to song, but this is the main influences and direction.
Members Of Band
The band would be either a 3 or 4 a piece, depending on how many guitarist I find.
Drums - Me - I play the drums and write the music
Bass - TBD - I know a guy who's local that plays on a 5 string, which is preferred, but I still have to talk to him about it.
Guitar/s - None - Still looking for any guitarists. Someone good with both rhythmic and lead playing, unless, as I said, I find two guitarists.
Vocals - None - This one's tricky, as I want to blend the vocal styles of both grunge and sludge, so a decently competent vocalist is preferred.

I've got a full kit:

And a splash
I do also have an e-kit too which I practice with.
Laptop with some programs I use to help write music.
Other than that, it's a pretty bare bones operation, but I assume someone wanting to join a band has thr equipment for it already.
