A great opportunity exists for a banjo player who is interested in getting involved in a new theatre production. As the composer is also required to act, please be advised of the following:
-The composer will preferably play banjo, but guitar or even violin are acceptable.
-The composer will preferably be male, aged 20-30 and be interested in acting as well.
The play is set in 1890s Melbourne and is based around a story that took place in the 1990s. The play explores manhood, suicide, growth and rebirth, and blends comedy with elements of tragedy to tell a story of friendship. We are looking for a composer (who is willing to perform on stage and act) to develop the piece towards a production in 2020.
Production details such as venue location and dates are subject to your availability, but the preference is for a production in 2020. Payment is negotiable.
The play has been in development for over five years, and is being workshopped further with a professional writer and professional director.
