Hullo Cathy here. I have been singing since I was two. I had a three octave and one extra note ! range. A5 down to G2. Mezzo-soprano down to Baritone. Most comfortable in alto ( contralto)/ tenor range. Can sing very loudly without a mike ! Tend not to do that too much. Need to preserve my voice !, I enjoy singing songs from musicals, jazz, pop, rock, semi classical, especially anything that really challenges me ! Would prefer acoustic accompaniment. Want to preserve my normal ( perfect ) hearing if possible too.

Fender Amp, Acoustic guitar ), ( tried playing steel string: too hard on my delicate fingers)Nylon string guitar Electric fender guitar and good quality F hole ? steel string acoustic Looks rather like the one on the cover of the Dire Straits album. Electronic piano, tambourine, inexpensive Glockenspiel ( this is kind of a confession ! ) Acoustic piano ( this is not very portable ! ) Cheap flute and recorder. Shaker. I can't play really play any of the above apart from the tambourine and the shaker ! But maybe somebody else could. I am better at composing music than playing it on instruments. Also write poetry. Published poet. Could be a lyricist.
