Hello world!
I am fresh to Cairns from August of this year, hoping to meet other musicians interesting in playing/writing original music.
I have a bunch of songs that I've written and would love input from other musicians skilled in their trades - particularly would love to hear from experienced drummers, bass players, lead guitarists and people with music production and electronic music skills.
Looking to develop the songs into somewhat of a blend of alternative rock and dream pop with some soul and folk influences. I'm not sure exactly what this would sound like at this stage and looking for people to help guide the creation process :)
I'd also be interested to collaborate with others on their original songs particularly if we want to make a band with a similar vibe - I can contribute violin and vocals (incl harmonies) at an advanced level and rhythm guitar and keys at an intermediate level.
At the moment my aim is to release something out into the world and after this I'd be interested in polishing the songs with an ensemble and doing some gigs!
