Looking for a Bass and/or Synth player to join Sydney based dream-pop / shoegaze band "Grids & Dots". We're looking for an experienced bass or synth player who is interested in playing lots of shows and who has the desire to play big shows and eventually even tour one day! Being in a band is like dating someone, so this means you'll be spending lots of time with us. We rehearse once a week, and sometimes 2 times before a show. Everyone in the band as active duties to contribute to the band as well, eg. socials, bookings, media, and financially to live shows and recordings etc.
The sky is the limit! Everyone in our band currently have a pretty established career that we're pretty committed to and passionate about when not playing music. That being said, we will still always put music first. Looking for someone who will also always put a gig / music opportunity first ahead of their established career.
If you're just interested in a few shows here and don't want to make playing music and shows your life long journey them we're probably not right for you - since it takes a long time for us to teach all our songs to someone, and refine all our parts. Must be located within 20km of Sydney. Ideally around the inner west. Must have own car.
