Vocalist looking for band (death / black / doom / grind / crust)

I'm Bryce (they/them), looking to write lyrics and perform live vocals for a metal band of any genre that follows the morbid and obscure approach of black / death metal from the 80s and early 90s (think HELLHAMMER/CELTIC FROST, AUTOPSY, INCANTATION, ENTOMBED, DARKTHRONE, SUMMONING, BOLT THROWER etc., or newer bands like DEAD CONGREGATION, BLOOD INCANTATION, etc.). Experimental/avant-garde elements are a plus. Also interested in grind or crust bands.

I've played with and written songs for a number of Adelaide bands, most notably lyrics and songwriting for deathgrind band SPLATTERGASM (bassist, '08-'11) and lyrics for sludge doom band SLOVEN (vocalist, '16 - '17). I am currently one half of bass-bass experimental/noise duo AND THERE WAS A WOLF, and vocalist of fully improvised noise rock / metal band LES VOLTIGEURS.

At the moment, I am a full-time student (until end of Term 3, 2025). Based in the North, so pracs South of Sunset Rehearsals are a bit harder to get to. Currently jamming with ATWAW regularly (trying to get back to once a fortnight) and Les V. infrequently. I have a solo project, SAHUL, with fluctuating progress. Looking to join a band that is forming or established, but not yet playing a busy schedule.

Next 3-4 weeks will be very busy, so I'm looking to start jamming mid-to-late May 2025.

I can contribute to songwriting beyond just lyrics if required.

I am queer, antifascist and anti-capitalist - not interested in jamming with anyone that would have a problem with this.
