ABOUT

After a long break from a very active time bass playing in bands, small groups and various TV shows, I've taken it up again and enjoying it thoroughly. This time around I've been taking lessons and find it's making a real difference.
I'm more or less focusing on upright bass rather than bass guitar.
I'm looking to play regularly, either in gigs or for fun, as this will help me extend my skill base from current levels.
Currently playing with a few groups for interest, but would like to do gigs.
I have very eclectic tastes and play classics with a mandolin orchestra-Sydney Mandolin Orchestra http://www.sydneymandolinorchestra.com.au/), - jazz with a vibraphonist (The Vibraphonics....www.vibraphonics.info) and rock/pop with another group The Recidivists. I Also regularly play with other groups as needed.
