ABOUT

I am looking for like minded musicians, who are not wanting to play pub gigs or have a need for attention seeking and 'grandstanding'. Been there and done that as far pub gigs & trying to be the next super group goes. Not looking for a commercial enterprise situation - I make money doing other things.
Looking for musicians more interested in making music in a studio environment where, quality is more important than quantity - where competence, skill and maturity is desired and stroking egos is frowned upon. Pro' recording is an option if something is worthy of the expense, otherwise, basic recording used as a tool for recap' and improvement purposes would be more likely.
Seeking competent bass players and drummers especially, even if you are just looking for a part time situation for keeping your 'chops' in. Same for other instruments/vocals too.

Influences

My influences include rock (my teen years were in the 70's so, all the great stuff from that era), rock/jazz fusion - think Steely Dan or 'modern jazz' style artists like Jeff Cascaro, Linsay Webster and many others in that genre, funky stuff, lounge, groove, cool jazz, blues, some country (love tele twang), bluegrass and classical (if you are proficient with playing Bach on guitar or piano, would love to meet you - J. S. Bach was a genius..).
