ABOUT

Hey there, I'm Jonesy, looking to jam with some like minded musicians, wanting to create some original heavy music and have fun whilst doing it. I have been playing drums on and off for around 25 years. I wouldn't call myself super technical, I have some flair and know my way around a kit though. I have just spent the last 3 years dedicated to a band, released a debut album that was recorded by the wizard like Chris Themelco of Monolith Studios (Orpheus Omega) and we had the opportunity and privilege to have it mixed by multi Grammy winning Thomas Plec Johansen at The Panic Room (Sweden). I have uploaded a couple of tracks that show some of my playing abilities and a general idea of the music ive performed. I enjoy metal in general- groove metal, sludge, doom, grind, traditional and death. Also love a good slab of old fashioned 70s style rock. Looking to form a band for jams and eventually gigs.
