ABOUT
I am a solo musician as well as playing in an acoustic trio with my brother and sister (Wyla). I am at the beginning stages of building a potential career for myself in the music industry, upskilling and playing as many live gigs as possible on the Sunshine Coast, Brisbane and around Australia. I am passionate about creating music that is meaningful, deep and soulful, but also enjoy seeing people get up and dance to my music. I am still finding my sound, but enjoying the discovery of myself as an artist in this form. I have played at Maleny Music Festival, Desert Harmony Festival (Tennant Creek), X&Y Bar, and many more cafes and restaurants. I have featured on community radio stations across Australia including Ballarat and Tennant Creek.
Wyla:
From the mountains of Maleny in the Hinterland of the Sunshine Coast, three siblings come together to create the soulful melodies of Wyla. Passionate about creating music that audiences connect with, Brea, James and Tess Robertson invest their heart within each song. Influenced by their years of travelling around Australia as children and overseas travel in recent years, the three love incorporating different sounds within their music such as the Native American flute and the African Djembe drum. Wyla are known for their rich vocals, meaningful lyrics and instruments with a difference.
