ABOUT

hey I'm bowen, I live in footscray. I am a passionate producer/songwriter, getting more into performing and recording my own stuff recently. Super interested in joining a band or collaborating with local artists, I've built a soundproof/acoustically treated recording studio in my spare room. Anyone is free to use it to record or practice, just hit me up and we can talk a bit further.

In general I just want to grow as a producer, I want to eventually start a band and create a lot of EPs, tracks, mixtapes with different people.

I have an extensive list of inspirations, and my personal sound in my projects can vary from a "ports of paradise" kind of feel, indie music, acoustic, hip hop, edm, hyperpop, pop, post-rock, metal, noise rock, ambient, electronic. There are absolutely no limits, any new kind of music to work on is an opportunity to improve another kind.

The influences section is a mess, might organize by genre later on. I am inspired by pretty much everything I hear but that is a pretty good list of what I'm listening to at the moment/over the last few years and what has most influenced what I'm making

I am starting a website soon as on neocities so will link that here when done, just want to post the stuff I make as well as accompanying writing/images etc. I just want to make more music and get better at it, happy to write songs for people, produce, work with, play in a band. Got my own stuff I am doing but I think collaborating with others will benefit those projects extensively. No monetary interest
