EQUIPMENT

Guitars:
I usually play an Eastman AR-503ce with flatwound strings (think I have elevens on at the moment). I usually favour a woody tone and mostly focus on grips and changes. Good reference tone is something towards Grant Green or Jim Hall's tone on Intermodulation.
I also have a Mexi Strat from around the 90's/00's that I play nickels on. This was the guitar I primarily learnt on so I have moved over a lot of different tonalities, at the moment Ive mostly been using it in conjunction with volume control emulating a synth pad (think reverse attack reverb chamber effect) and for lead lines as it has that beautiful single line voice that Fenders are perfect for.

My bass is a hunk of trash but I love it for writing parts on for this reason, definitely can get the job done

Drums, I have a mixmash of kit parts that have gradually formed a kit over a year or so. The kick and snare are the only really grabs of the kit, the cymbals are second hand Planet Z's that have seen better days and the toms are laughable but when its tuned decently and hit just right its not too bad

Piano, I have my mum's Biele upright that she got in '76 when she turned 16. Ive just had it tuned and it sounds really beautiful, particularly in the wooden room its in. I dont have many chops on the keys but it would sound amazing under the right fingers!

I also have :
Saxophone, Clarinet, Microphones galore, a practice space
