Hi, I'm Betty :) I'm looking to form a Sydney-based music group with a jazz guitarist/pianist, for the purpose of meeting up informally to play jazz standards and ballad jazz, with the prospect of preparing for future external gigs/performances.
I'm a classically trained violinist/pianist and have spent the last few years teaching myself jazz, so am looking to expand my repertoire and knowledge in jazz.
I enjoy playing ballad jazz songs by Chet Baker (Album: Chet Baker Sings), Diana Panton, Stacey Kent and Emilie-Claire Barlow.
