Band to Join, Vocalist, Drums, Other Percussion, Saxophone, Keyboard, DJ, Electronic Music.

ABOUT

Long-term player into all styles of music. I am a solid rhythm and lead player with good timing and feel, with many years of experience holding a band together.

I am currently singing and playing guitar with a bass player, and we are looking for a drummer or percussionist to play covers and originals with weekly rehearsals.

Would also like to start a second project involving experimental, electronic, dub, hip-hop, and cow-punk styles with a DJ and synths. I am seeking someone on decks, keys, or samplers and a vocalist or rapper to jam and write originals.

I have a musical open mind and will play with anyone from ages 15 to 85.

I have a full PA and guitar/bass amps setup for a band here at the farm with no noise restrictions.

Influences

Experienced player with a foundation in classic rock, blues, and pop spanning from the 1950s to today. I appreciate the classics, and also have an interest in heavier and more contemporary sounds.

Earlier influences inlcude The Doors, Zeppelin, Rolling Stones, Jimi Hendrix, Cream, Sam Cooke, Leon Redbone, AC/DC.

Modern/heavier influences include Ween, Viagra Boys, Modest Mouse, The Presets, Soft Play, Ty Segall, Fat Dog, Getdown Services, Big Special, Run The Jewels, Mclusky, Fugazi.

I have no boundaries when it comes to musical styles. I'm happy playing anything from 50's Pop/Jazz to Metal, as long as it has a good feel and the focus is on having fun.
