I've always wanted to do and have done a HOLOTTA different stuff. Now this pandemic has eased, apart from the run of the mill duo gigs we do, I want to get with other musos. Leshhgoooo'.
I have been in line ups playing music from Rock to Reggae, Jazz to Country, Pop to Funk...... I am confident in my ability to "bring it" and I thrive on connecting with and giving to an audience. I'm not especially adept at blowing my trumpet, but here goes.
I'm originally from NZ with experience in many lineups. After gigging my butt off in NZ and here in Oz (from 2000 to 2010, my wife and I averaged 5 gigs a week) I'm not really aiming to do hundreds of gigs, but I would like to hook up with some good musos who want to produce great sound and a great show. Some of my achievements include 17 years on the VIC/NSW club scene, several TV appearances (Threshold Promotions 1982 NZ TV, Starquest 1983 NZ TV, Telequest 1987 NZ TV, Telethon 1989 NZ TV, StarParade 1996 NZ TV, Mai Time Music 1998 NZ TV, Channel 10s Xfactor 2005 AUS TV) and taking out most of the awards at the South Australian Country Music Awards 2014 (including Male Vocal,Duo, Country Rock, Song writing). Also, having written a few songs I'd hope to work with other musos who are, into original stuff.
