G'day, I'm Pete & I play Keys. My happy place is playing high-energy, funky music that makes people wanna dance!
I've been playing covers from 70's through to modern-day music.
Enjoy working with singers & writers on compositions, structure & arrangements. Got all the gear to record through to live performance.
Blues/Rock/Pop/Funk influence. I've played with a variety of musicians and bands and even released collaborated material through Mushroom Distribution Service as early as 1992; worked in pre & post-production;
Self-taught keyboard player which makes me good at improvising.
Play a little guitar, percussion & drums, but all the action happens on the keys. Quick learner who's adaptable through good improvisation. Love collaborating with other talented musicians, as my quick wit makes my improvisation inspirational.
Love a good rhythm section.. soul and funk is where I am most happy. Always happy to meet new people and network
While I am not actively looking to join a band (unless it was a group of professional players playing funky music w/ soul & R'n'B), I am not closed to the idea either.

Influences
I love & play all sorts of music. I appreciate good talent and as such, enjoy good musicianship. Many influences. BUT.. if I did, it would be a culmination of artists like Donny Hathaway, John Mayer, Zac Brown Band, Billy Joel, Incognito, Lettuce, Dua Lipa, Allen Stone, Lawrence, Jodeci, Eagles, Fleetwood Mac.. I mean... yeah, very eclectic .. feeling me?
